My Best Kakasana/crow at Ipanema Beach, Rio de Janeiro. The wind was blowing like a hurricane and I was getting ready to fly. Still working on getting my arms straight for Bakasana/crane but so far it is eluding me. Crow is a fun pose which requires a lot of core strength. I lovingly refer to it as a “gateway pose” because once mastered a whole bunch of new arm balancing postures become available.
We were working with this posture for a while in the level 2 class I was instructing at ChrisFit Lewiston and I’m proud to say a few of the students were making really great progress, but, like just about everything, regular consistent practice really helps a lot.
